Aerial photography is almost as old as photography itself! The first use of a camera to record the views from above occurred from a hot air balloon in 1858. A 19th century photographer named Felix Nadar (not Ralph) shot a French chateau below him, and realized the value and uniqueness of this art. Nadar went on to produce a series of images of Paris which became a huge commercial success.

My name is Braxton Freeman.. I am the owner/photographer and pilot for Aerial Design.  I have been a pilot/photographer since 1987.  I started out flying my plane and shooting with film, so I developed a unique set of skills as a flying photographer. I was in a field all on my own prior to the rapid expansion of drones.
